Masters – Now with a dane
When you have been watching badminton on the television in 2009, you've been seeing Jan Ø. Jørgensen time after time. The young guy from Aalborg has been one of the best ”new” names. And again today Jan is the new guy.
200 people saw the you single player at his first match at Copenhagen Masters. It was hot and the spot was on the young player, but the preasure didn't make Jørgensen nervouse.
Marc Zwiebler from Germany was the opponant. The two players played some good badminton for the audience, but the dane was the best. No doubt about that.
Congratulations to Jan with his first victory in the tournament. 21-17 21-12 over the german. Let's hope Peter Gade can do the same tonight, when Chong Wei Feng from Malaysia is on the other side of the net.
Way to go Jan!
